Our new assistant: Valerie Laukat

During the period between July and September we have support from Valerie who is doing a great job in assisting us in doing research for our simulation game development.

Valerie is currently doing a Master of International Relations and European Integration in East Central Europe at the German speaking Andrássy University in Budapest. In the past two years she lived in Hungary and Romania where she was working as a journalist writing about local NGOs.

She has a deep interest for conflict resolution and mediation, with a focus on post-conflict countries like the Western Balkans since she visited countries in the region like Albania, Kosovo and Serbia. Valerie is spending her summer at CRISP to gain more experience in the field of Conflict Transformation and the method of simulation games. She will be our intern until the end of September.
