Ukraine´s membership in the NATO and EU, its development in inner politics and on the international arena, the war in the East and the destiny of internally displaced people – these and other topics became the focus of our session at the conference “Russia and the NATO” in Oeversee, Schleswig-Holstein. 45 soldiers of the German Bundeswehr received an introduction to Ukrainian politics and the state of affairs in the war in the East of Ukraine. We find it important to spread the knowledge and encourage critical thinking and are grateful to our partner the European Academy Sankelmark for the invitation.
