Maidan’s Hidden Memories

A new project comes with new challenges. Last week we had the first meeting with our participants and we assured the co-financing. So we are ready to go.

Together with our new partners xm:lab from Saarbrücken, Germany, and ISKRA (Ukraine) and 20 participants we want to develop an application for mobile-phones (Android + iOS) that allows the listener to better understand the events between November 2013 and February 2014. Why people joined the protests, or why didn’t they?

During the last activity we introduced the participants to the project in general and the method of interactive story-telling in particular. We are very happy about the productive working atmosphere and the support of the participants. Now, all participants will conduct a series of interviews and gather different viewpoints on what has happened. We try to cover a greatest possible spectrum of opinions and personal stories.

Afterwards we will fictionalize these stories and create an interactive story that connects the manifold perspectives. Once the application is launched, the listeners have the possibility to experience this turning-point in Ukranian history with multi-perspective approach. The application will be available in Ukrainian, Russian, English and German.

Stay updated, in order to include a walk on Maidan with our application in your next trip to Kyiv.
