New Assistant Catalina

In March 2022 Catalina joined our team and supports our projects in Latinamerica.

Born in Colombia, Catalina studied political science at the National University of Colombia, along with an exchange semester at the University of Potsdam. During her bachelor´s studies, she worked as a researcher for the National University, on projects involving citizen participation and educational policy solutions to environmental conflicts affecting ethnic minorities.

Catalina is currently a second-year student of the Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) at Hertie School Berlin. She is now a project assistant for the Latin America team at CRISP.

Her areas of interest are environmental justice for indigenous communities, public policies focused on fighting food insecurity and inequities, and conflict and post-conflict issues in Latin America.

She also enjoys applying her technical knowledge in graphic design for informative graphic pieces.
