Kick-off Meeting for the Project Policing the Policies in Warsaw

On 19.4. our Project Policing the Policies had its official start in Warsaw. We were happy to meet our partners from Finland, Serbia, and Poland to have a fruitful exchange about the goals and next steps within the next 2 years.

With the project, we want to support youth organizations and young people from Uckermark and Berlin Tempelhof/Schöneberg to articulate their interests to municipal decision-makers and to work on new formats of local youth participation. Moreover, 10 participants from each country will have the opportunity to work on transnational cooperation during a meeting in Serbia this autumn.

19.4. was also the memorial day of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. The yellow daffodil commemorates the 60,000 Jews who were still living in the ghetto on April 19, 1943, when the uprising began. We and the whole consortium want to honor the victims of the Warschau Ghetto and will remember the courage and power of resistance

We are looking forward to the upcoming cooperation with our partners from Peoples Parliament in Serbia, the Association of Cultural Heritage Education in Finland, and Fundacja Pole Dialogu from Poland.
