Umeda hold a Diploma of Oriental Studies in Tajikistan and she pursued her Master Degree on Political Science and International Relation at Pune University, India. She has a rich working experience on development and implementation of projects on economic, environmental development, youth and women economic empowerment with UN, USAID, Austrian Hilfswerk and the OSCE in Tajikistan.
Her main area of interest is the MENA region and peacebuilding projects. Umeda is a Cross Cultural Fellow and joined CRISP as an intern to gain more experience in the field of conflict analysis, international cooperation, method and development of simulation games.
